Leaders Don't Command: Inspire Growth, Ingenuity, and Collaboration: 1. Leadership is not about control, but about enabling others. True leaders empower their team members to take ownership, make decisions, and contribute their unique talents. They create an environment where people feel valued, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential. 2. Leadership is a shared responsibility, not a one-person show. Effective leadership is not about a single individual at the top, but rather about a collective effort to achieve shared goals. Leaders facilitate collaboration, break down silos, and foster a sense of shared purpose among team members. 3. Leadership is not about titles or positions, but about behavior. Leadership is not defined by a hierarchical position or a fancy title. It's about the actions and behaviors that inspire and motivate others. True leaders embody the qualities they want to see in their team members, such as integrity, empathy, and a wil...
#SEO Update: Google has just rolled out an update that has resulted in more FAQ-rich results appearing.
The update for FAQ Schema started around May 20th according to clients I work with and use the markup heavily.
So if your site had the markup added to pages but wasn't receiving the rich result treatment, that may have changed.
To check, the best way to do this is via Google Search Console using Search Appearance filtering and selecting 'FAQ rich results' within the Performance report.
The primary 3rd party source where I'm seeing an uplift for sites is via Semrush (see comments), though I can see similarities in RankRanger and Moz with data that are publicly available.
When troubleshooting FAQ Schema-rich results, it is important to understand the principles for delivery, which I've covered heavily in the past in blog posts. Key takeaways include:
1. FAQ-rich results will only ever appear on page 1 of Google's search results. If ranking on pg.2 and beyond, rich results won't appear when using the markup
2. A maximum of 3 FAQ-rich results will only ever appear on the first page of Google. So if you're the 4th site in the sequence and have the markup, rich results won't appear
3. Google now limits pages to have a maximum of 2 questions appearing in search results. So if you've marked up 2+ FAQs, only 2 of those will ever appear at once
As you can see from the example in the screenshot comparison for this post for the search term "SEO", both sites had the markup added to their pages before May 20th (left).
After Google's update had rolled out, both pages suddenly started yielding rich results, due to placement on page 1 and not having other pages with FAQ Schema ranking above.
Oftentimes, Google manages FAQ-rich results on an algorithmic basis. Preventing sites from showing the treatment not because of technical issues, but instead because of the need to test user responses to different SERP layouts.
In this case, it looks like Google is starting to reflect sites that have FAQ markup within Search. Which is good news for those who have added the markup purposefully to their pages.
